British Universities and Colleges Sport launched at an impressive and energetic parliamentary gathering of leaders in sport and higher education last month.

Participants of the groundbreaking volunteering scheme (the Personal Best Programme) linked to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games helped steward crowds and runners at the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 12th October.

MMU’s Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of Cheshire faculty Dennis Dunn welcomed Lord Coe and more than 100 leading sporting, political and economic leaders to Crewe campus last month.

London College of Fashion was given the honour of designing and styling the costumes for the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics 2008, on Sunday 24th August.
