Apply now to become Team GB's official cheerleaders at London 2012
13 July 2012
Team GB has today launched a hunt to find Britain’s best cheerleading squad to become the official Team GB cheerleaders in the final run-up to and during the Games - and you can apply now.
The Team GB Cheerleaders will help to galvanise the support of the nation at the Team GB football friendly against Brazil in Middlesbrough on Friday 20th July.
During the Games, the Team GB cheerleaders will make appearances at official live sites and rouse the crowds at the Olympic Park.
The search for the cheerleaders comes after Team GB announced a selection of celebrity ambassadors including Dermot O’Leary, Edith Bowman, David Walliams, Katherine Jenkins, Mel C, Will Young, Bear Grylls, Davina McCall, Eddie Izzard, Reggie Yates and Alesha Dixon, who are on a campaign to create the greatest support an Olympic team has ever had.
How to enter:

1) Visit the Team GB Facebook page and post a video of themselves performing (please keep the video below five minutes)
2) Invite all of their fans and followers to like and comment on the video – this stage is open until Monday 16th of July at 12 noon.

The top videos will be judged by the Great British public and one of Team GB’s celebrity ambassadors before a winner is selected and announced.
