NUS announces final round of Be a Champion accreditation for Students' Unions

The Be a Champion programme – run by the National Union of Students and inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games – has announced which students' unions have become the final recipients of its gold, silver and bronze accreditation scheme.
Designed to reward and recognise the very best students’ union for their commitment to London 2012, the accreditation rewards and recognises the effort shown by students’ unions in creating an environment for Games inspired activity to flourish.
Without support and guidance from students’ unions and the officers and staff that form their backbone students wouldn’t be able to play such a role in London 2012 inspired activity.
Following the final wave of accreditation, 44 students’ unions have now achieved the Be a Champion's gold, silver of bronze status. A full list of unions who have achieved accreditation is below:
