Your job will be to excite the world’s media about Games Experts and encourage them to attend the media launch of the website on the evening of Tuesday 24th July in Senate House, University of London.

The job will involve at least two days/evenings work on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July, handing out promotional material, taking contact details and explaining the Games Expert concept and the range of expertise on offer to the world's media in central and east London.

The successful candidates will need the following:

• The ability to communicate effectively face-to-face with an international audience, ideally through the use of at least one other language in addition to English.
• Experience of promotional work in a busy environment and confidence in dealing with multiple enquiries at once.
• Enthusiasm for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, ideally with an understanding of the Games Experts website and the expertise it offers the media.
• A willingness to work as part of a team but also the ability to work well individually.  

The rate of pay will be £8.30 an hour and any travel expenses during shifts will be covered but travel to and from shifts will not.
