Apply now to work as a reporter for Podium working on London 2012 Olympic Games

You can apply now for an exciting paid position with Podium’s news team as a freelance reporter to help cover all the London 2012 activities of students and staff from the Further and Higher Education sectors.

Student reporters

Podium is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our busy news team as soon as possible. Experience of news reporting and interviewing at either student, voluntary or professional level is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to produce a minimum of four articles per week for Podium’s website for which they will be paid £100 per week.

Subject to satisfactory completion of this role as a freelance reporter, the successful candidate will then be asked to work up to 35 hours per week for four weeks with a rate of pay of £8.30 per hour around Olympic Games-time ie 23rd July to 17th August.
