Pupils from St Nicholas School were at the University’s Sidney Cooper Gallery to watch the premiere of their own short animated film, ‘2012 Dreams’ when Mandeville popped by to join them.

The film, which has been made as part of the Creative Campus Initiative, tells of the pupils’ dreams of competing in the Paralympic Games. It can be viewed as part of The Improbable Curve exhibition, to be held at the Sidney Cooper Gallery from Saturday 24 to 31 July.

To coincide with the exhibition, the Sidney Cooper Gallery will be hosting a day of art activities and workshops called A Grand Day Out as part of the London 2012 Open Weekend.

More than 100 new community arts projects, such as 2012 Dreams, have been commissioned by the Creative Campus Initiative and Canterbury Christ Church University has been working with many of the projects in Kent.
