Register for Podium's London 2012 Pre Games Training Camps conference

A limited number of spaces remain for the free-to-attend conference on Pre Games Training Camps which will take place on Friday 16 April at Loughborough University.

Podium, in partnership with the Government Olympic Executive and British Universities and Colleges Sport, is hosting the conference which will is aimed at at facilities featured in the LOCOG Pre Games Training Camp Guide.

The day will give delegates the opportunity to:

  • Hear the inside story from the Institutions which have already confirmed agreements, including Loughborough University, University of Birmingham and the North West Development Agency
  • Engage with London 2012 sponsors
  • Share best practice and foster partnerships and links
  • Learn more about what Team Managers are looking for in a PGTC
  • Hear how educational initiatives can be developed

The keynote address at the conference is to be delivered by Chris Holmes, Director of Paralympic Integration at LOCOG and there will also be talks given by 10 other informative speakers in a day which will run from 10am to 4pm.
