Olympic University to open in Sochi 2014 Games Park

The Russian International Olympic University in Sochi has been presented to IOC Committee President Jacques Rogge in Vancouver.
The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi is set to become the world's first Olympic University. It is aiming to become an educational, research and consulting platform for the Olympic family, where Games related knowledge can be shared and creative concepts and strategies developed. The University will be running in advance of the 2014 Games and will be an integral part of ensuring they are successfully delivered.
Speaking at the presentation in Vancouver, Sochi 2014 President and CEO, Dmitry Chernyshenko said: “The Russian International Olympic University will be one of the enduring legacies of Sochi 2014, training a new generation of sports managers.”
