The new look site aims to reflect the range of activity surrounding the Games in a way which will be understood by as many people as possible. The launch comes after a year of activity including extensive user testing, research and design work.

The site has been visited by more than four million people in the last year alone with visitors from all over the world, including every country with a National Olympic Committee.
