London 2012 seeks further office-based volunteers for summer 2009

9 June 2009

More Trailblazers needed.

Volunteering is at the heart of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As well as needing volunteers at Games-time, we also need them in the lead up to the Games.

Our office-based volunteers, known as Trailblazers, work within the LOCOG office at Canary Wharf, performing a wide range of administration duties as required by all departments.

LOCOG are looking for more individuals, including Personal Best Graduates, to join the pre-Games volunteer programme. Trailblazers will need to have a wide range of skills and experience. Therefore all areas of the community are encouraged to apply.

The opportunities on offer are diverse and varied and include the following roles: administration, editorial and copy writing.  There are also numerous Assistant roles in various teams including Legal and Public Enquiries, Speakers Bureau, Transport, Venues and Medical.
