College student Chloe Brown from South Eastern Regional College (SERC) in Bangor, Northern Ireland has been invited to take part in an Olympic Flame Handover Ceremony in Athens attended by London 2012 ambassador David Beckham.

Young researchers from across the world supported to attend pre-Olympic Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport

The ICSEMIS International Scholarship scheme will fund 40 young researchers and scientists from developing countries to travel to Glasgow to attend the pre-Olympic Convention on Science, Education and Medicine in Sport. The scholars are fully funded by a grant from the Olympic Lottery Distributor.
