The Olympics are an opportunity for London. They also pose a threat to its safety and security.
While the experience of previous events has shown that good planning can deliver a trouble-free games, the threat of international terrorism demands a whole range of innovative security measures, and a collaborative approach from business and government. The speakers will consider the security challenges posed by the Olympics and the lessons that can be learned from Beijing, Athens and Sydney.
