The Equestrian events at the London Olympic Games have drawn plenty of plaudits for both their quality and location, much British success and even a royal medal. Two University of Liverpool staff have played an integral part in ensuring that the most important aspect of all - the horses - have had the best possible safety and welfare provisions.
